What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations.

What is the course going to be like?
We meet every Wednesday at 1pm in Impact Hub. The idea is that straight after the class you feel refreshed and energized to jump back to work.
The course lasts 6 weeks and consists of six 40-minute sessions, starting on the 17th October and finishing on the 21st November.
We start each session with a short check-in, meditation, followed by a breathing exercise and stretches.
The themes of the sessions include: breath awareness, noticing your thought patterns, senses, emotions, being present, body awareness & mindful movement
No special equipment is needed
Suitable for everyone – complete beginners and more advance practitioners of mindfulness.
The price for the course (6 sessions) is 690 CZK (115 CZK per session).
The sessions will be once a week on Wednesdays from 1pm to 1.40pm, starting on the 17th October (then 24. 10., 31. 10., 7. 11., 14. 11., 21. 11.)

Tereza is a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor and healer. She is on a mission to help others to connect more deeply with themselves; quieten their busy minds; and find inner peace, stillness and love for themselves. Tereza has been practicing mindfulness and yoga since 2012 when these practices helped her to significantly reduce stress during her studies at the university. She has a vast experience with leading mindfulness and yoga classes at companies, yoga studios and for university students.
In her free time, Tereza enjoys exploring the world, writing, dancing and food activism.
Tereza completed a vinyasa yoga teacher training with Peter Kaberbool and was certified by Yoga Alliance in 2016 in Costa Rica. She is also a certified facilitator of Osho meditations and a reiki healer.
