Day 6 - 9: Enjoying the stillnes

I look around and see peaceful landscape with a few hills and houses, fields, olive trees, blue sky and very strong sun that puts everything on heat.

These olive trees are 200-300 years old!! How incredible!

I chose to come to this retreat centre as I wanted to give myself some nice holiday... what is better than yoga, delicious healthy food, swimming pool and a quiet space (yeah, I know, the ocean is missing hehe)? I want to reconnect with the experience of what the retreat setting feels like so I can deliver it even in a better way back in Czechia in September and October (sooo excited for the weekend retreats!!).

 A beautiful, magical yoga shala.

How does an ordinary day look like here for me?

I wake up at 7, do some journaling and meditation. From 8 to 9:30 we have a vinyasa yoga class. Then breakfast and free time. I do a bit of work, read a book, write, swim in the pool, sunbathe, sleep, chat with other people... The lunch is at 13:30 (btw. the food is absolutely amazing - healthy and nourishing!). Then the heat is quite unbearable in the afternoon so there is not much to do. In the evening there is a class or I go for a hike, dinner at 19:00 and then chilling and hanging out with people, or watching singing gayatri mantra to honour the sun and watching the stars. Pretty relaxed holiday, manageable to do for three days :)

Grateful to be here. Grateful that I chose time to connect with myself in a deeper way than I usually can.
